Electronic multimedia DIY map of Ukraine "JAAM"

Map of Ukraine on WS2812B addressable LEDs, which displays the following information:

• A mode for displaying air raid alerts based on the official API https://www.ukrainealarm.com/
• A mode for displaying weather data from https://openweathermap.org/
• Ukraine’s flag mode
• Random colors mode
• Desk lamp mode
• Offline mode — the map displays nothing

Additionally, it features:

• Display — can show the current time, weather, technical information about the map, data from the temperature and humidity sensor, as well as service messages when the map starts, during any map-related issues, while switching modes, etc.
• Digital microphone (the device can run with sound recative WLED firmware).
• Buzzer — for user notifications (the following melodies are pre-programmed: Ukraine’s national anthem, “Oy u luzi chervona kalyna,” Cossack March, Harry Potter theme, “Shchedryk,” and about a dozen other popular tunes).
• Two buttons — “Off,” “Switch map modes,” “Switch display modes,” “Turn map On/Off,” “Turn display On/Off,” “Turn both map and display On/Off,” “Turn night mode On/Off,” “Reboot the device” (available only via long press).

Case — 3D-printed

Power supply:

• USB-C (power and firmware flashing).
• DC 5–24V (5.5×2.1 mm connector).

Front side:

• 124 WS2812B LEDs: Illuminates the regions of Ukraine and separately the city of Kyiv.
• OLED display (SH1106G, 1.3''): Shows time, temperature, and other user information.
• 5 service LEDs: System event indicators (power, Wi-Fi, server, etc.).
• Light sensor (BH1750): Automatically adjusts the map’s brightness.
• Speaker (buzzer): Audio notifications with a hardware switch.

Rear side:

• 44 WS2812B LEDs for background lighting: Lighting effects for important events.
• Climate sensor (BME280): Measures temperature, humidity, and pressure.
• ESP32 chip: The device’s control center.
• Digital microphone (ICS-43432): Future support with a hardware switch (currently can function with WLED).
• Two buttons: Modes, reboot, firmware flashing.
• ESP32 pins: For connecting additional modules.
